Some of my favorite engagement galleries are the ones where couples keep it real. Cruze and Aaliyah wore jeans and tees, and it was the perfect choice for them. We started their photo session at a charming Airbnb surrounded by blooming desert flowers, where they cozied up on a hammock nestled under the trees.

As soon as I arrived and drove along East Pinnacle Peak Road, I knew we had to shoot there. The sun was setting just beyond the hills, bathing the road in soft golden light. This location gave us everything we needed to capture the perfect shots! Altogether, the wide-open desert views, dynamic lines, and contrasting textures created the perfect setting for some fun and adventurous engagement photos.

With light prompts and lots of encouragement, Cruze and Aaliyah fully embraced the vibe. They ran, danced, embraced, and even sat on the road as the sun dipped lower. The result? A collection of desert photos that feel particularly cinematic, emotional, and full of life.
